Wes Lewis, a proud product of the Washington, DC Metropolitan area, was born to Guyanese immigrants and raised in Upper Marlboro, MD. His foundation was shaped by a Jesuit education at DC’s Gonzaga College High School, where he embraced the values of being a “man for others.”

Today, Wes serves as the Founder and Managing Partner of Hex5 Digital LLC, bringing over 18 years of expertise in agile leadership, user experience design, and management consulting. He has built a strong reputation for delivering innovative, data-driven digital solutions. His experience includes leadership roles at Hex5, Cvent, and Booz Allen Hamilton, where he led product delivery for esteemed government agencies such as the Department of Labor, IRS, and Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services.

Wes’ contributions to government contracting and digital marketing have earned recognition from organizations like the Black Engineer of the Year Conference and Human Factors International. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Information Systems from Hampton University, an MBA from UMGC, and a Master of Professional Studies in Technology Management from Georgetown University. Additionally, Wes holds professional certifications from the Project Management Institute, ICAgile, Scaled Agile, and the Nielsen Norman Group.

Passionate about education and service, Wes is an adjunct professor at UMGC, St. Francis College in Brooklyn, NY, the University of Maryland’s iSchool, and Georgetown University’s School of Continuing Studies. In these roles, he mentors undergraduate and graduate students in digital media, web technologies, and technology management.

Wes is also a dedicated community leader, actively engaged with the National Black MBA Association, National Contract Management Association, and Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc. As the 22nd President of the Zeta Chi Sigma Chapter in Prince George’s County, his administration achieved record membership growth of 61% over two years and awarded $26,000 in scholarships to Prince George’s County Public School students. He currently leads 12 DC Metro-area chapters in implementing the Fraternity’s Bigger and Better Business program. Wes was inducted into the Greater Washington Chapter of the 100 Black Men in 2015, where he served as Public Relations Committee Chair and as the chapter’s webmaster for several years. Now, upon his realignment with the organization in his home of Gorgeous Prince George’s County, Wes looks forward to bringing fresh energy and impactful contributions to further its mission of mentorship and community empowerment.

Wes resides in Bowie, MD, with his breath-takingly beautiful wife, Dr. Ariel Lewis, and their two remarkable children, Leo and Cadence.
