Information

Walter is from Mount Vernon, New York.  He is a graduate of Mount Vernon High School where he earned a full athletic scholarship to Rutgers University located in New Brunswick, New Jersey. He graduated with a B.S. degree, and was a 4-year All American Track & Field athlete. He won several National NCAA Awards during his athletic career. Walter has worked in several high profile Marketing / Public Relations roles with Xerox, Honeywell, and Samsung . He has over 20 + years of sales / PR Marketing experience and community outreach / engagement with Corporate accounts and nonprofits. 

He is also a graduate of Columbia School of Broadcasting (2010), Walter has been trained in SPIN Selling, Miller Heiman, Total Quality Management (TQM) and has worked several PSA’s / Marketing engagements. He also the Founding Charter President of the 100 Black Men of Prince Georges County Inc.  Executive Chair of the March for Dimes (2012 to Present / Prince Georges County. (2013 to 2007). Current Prince Georges County Alzheimer’s Walk Chair 2014.

 

Walter really believes in a “WIN/ WIN” customer focused approach.  His consultative “coaching” style has helped him earn numerous Leadership and Community awards over the years.  Rutgers University Hall of Fame Track & Field inductee 2019, Copa Style Magazine “Man of the Year 2017, 2016 Community Award Winner / Ward 6, DC Nitelife Community Award 2016 and 2017, Ernest Just Outstanding Mentoring Award 2012, and “Toys for Tots” Community Award 2015.  2018 MarKii Community Service Award, 2018 Made Man Award for the Washington region, Be There Lifetime Community Award 2018, and Walter sits on several Boards in the region.
