Dr. S. Raschid Muller currently serves as the Director of Cybersecurity Operations at the U.S. Department of the Interior. Before this role, he served as the Chief of Cyber Policy & Strategy Integration at the National Security Agency in the Cybersecurity Directorate. While employed with the DOD, he ran several high visibility programs including Cybersecurity
Infrastructure Tools (CSI), Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS), and the Joint Regional Security Stacks (JRSS) global deployment. He also completed one of several joint duty assignments with the DOD CIO Office as the rotational engineer working for the Assistant Secretary of Defense for Networks & Information Integration (ASD-NII).
In an academic capacity, he served as the Defense Information Systems Agency Information Operations Chair and Visiting Professor at National Defense University from 2017 – 2019. He is currently on staff at the National Intelligence University as a thesis chair in an adjunct capacity. Raschid is a 2020 Brookings Fellow and served on the House Committee for Homeland Security under the leadership of Chairman Bennie G. Thompson.
