Dr. Tony D. Johnson serves as President for Captivate Perspectives & Chancellor for The Institute for Life-Long Learning & Workforce Innovation. Dr. Johnson has over 20 years of comprehensive experience overseeing planning, implementation of workforce education programs, training, organizational transformation, budgeting and finance, public relations, and coalition-building. In addition, he has led public education policy advocacy and related supports in the areas of early childhood, K-12 schools, at-promise youth, workforce programs and higher education. 

Dr. Johnson also has experience implementing accountability systems and managed over $35 million in funds to support students and educators to achieve success both within and beyond the classroom. Dr. Johnson began his career as an alternative education teacher. His previous roles include University Provost, Vice President, and Dean. He has also served in K-12 roles that include:  Alternative High School Principal, Coordinator and Teacher. He has dual Bachelor of Science degrees in Political Science and Criminal Justice, a Master of Science degree in Public Administration & Public Policy and a Doctorate in Educational Leadership, Policy & Evaluation from Florida State University.
