Andre Thomas is currently a member of the Board of Directors for the 100 Black Men of Prince Georges County Chapter as well as the Deputy Vice President of Mentoring. Mr. Thomas currently mentors mentees and has been an integral part of the 100Way Track Team, 100Way Golf, Pathways to Success, and Silicon 100. Andre has a passion for leading, educating, inspiring, and mentoring the 100 mentees.
Professionally, Andre Thomas is a certified Cybersecurity Subject Matter Expert, with over 20 years of experience supporting the Federal government (U.S. national security agencies), Department of Defense and Intelligence Community as well as the private sector. As a 13-year United States Marine Corps veteran with 3 combat tours, 5 deployments, 5 individual commendation awards, and 6 service awards, Andre has a history of taking the initiative to problem-solve and defend those in need. In 2017, Andre Thomas founded Thomas Security Solutions, LLC to focus on providing astute cybersecurity support to public and private organizations. The company has supported 10 Federal government clients, 1 State-level client, and 3 private sector clients.
As the CEO of Thomas Security Solutions, Andre has successfully led the organization to provide exemplary and reputable cybersecurity support wherever requested. Andre currently sits on the Board for the Information Systems Security Association, a not-for-profit international organization of cybersecurity professionals. Andre has received numerous awards and recognition for his accomplishments, service, and leadership.
